What does that mean? Well, it means that the directors had the liberty to set the movie in the present, rather than ten years ago, and add a bit of extra action.
The movie follows events in more or less real-time, from the start where two Hosters move the train and, through ignorance and arrogance, let it go off on it's merry way, off to meet a trainful of school children.
Several attempts to stop the train fail, and the movies main characters (protrayed by Denzel and Pine) choose to chase it down after narrowly escaping it. The rest of the movie is a nail-biter as to whether the train will meet it's doom, or not...
Overall, I'd give it an 8/10, - a pretty damn good action movie.
